LVMAC News — Looking for a BraunAbility EnterVan?

Published by LVMAC on

LVMAC_Circular_w_Motto 2013 (Backgroundless)The Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council is looking for a severely disabled veteran in need of a wheel-chair modified automobile.

A local member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) has a 2010 Dodge modified Mini-Van for donation to a veteran residing in Lehigh or Northampton Counties.   This is the same type of vehicle provided by the VA to a wheel-chair bound, service-connected disabled veteran.  While the vehicle title transfer and licensing are provided at no charge,  the individual must be able to afford the insurance and upkeep.

If you know of a deserving veteran, have your organization, or one with which you are associated, contact Admin@LVMAC.org not later than 28 February 2017.  LVMAC will only work through another organization to reduce the likelihood of wasted effort otherwise and to meet an NABC requirement.  We will then get you with the proper local contact to start the process.   Ultimately, 1-800-Charity Cars, an NABC collaborating partner,  will vet the potential recipient and coordinate and manage all the necessary licensing and title transfer between donor and recipient.
