VA Offers Financial Literacy “Wellness Wednesdays”

As a result of a partnership between the VA and Prudential Financial, the Office of Outreach, Transition and Economic Development (OTED) is offering to military veterans, transitioning servicemembers, and their family members and caregivers, the opportunity to participate in a Wellness Wednesday Financial Educational series. The series addresses identified, financial literacy gaps across the military and veteran community.

It is comprised of two programs:

1) an online website portal which contains a roster of financial literacy information and resources available at www.prudential.com/Veteran

2) the Wellness Wednesday Financial education series, offered the 3rd Wednesday of every month that focuses on a variety of topics such as:

  • purchasing a home
  • paying for college
  • planning for retirement
  • learning the building blocks of how to save, budget, and make a return on investments.

The series starts on 15 May between the 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.   For details click on the image to the right.
