LVMAC News — “Salute to the Troops” Banquet Alive and Well
Who would’a thunk we would be doing this for fifteen years? The Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council is once again holding its “Salute to the Troops” dinner. The annual banquet will be held on Friday, May 18, starting at 6 PM, at the Holiday Inn on Adrienne Drive in Breinigsville, PA. The event is open to the general public.
This annual event honors military and veterans as part of the observance of Armed Forces week. Local businesses, associations, veterans organizations and individuals donate a seat or two for serving military or recently discharged veteran, and their significant other, to make it as special evening for them. The event includes good food, a distinguished speaker, dancing, Chinese auction, a free LVMAC print, some pomp and circumstance of a military nature, and above all, lively camaraderie. What more could one ask?
