Ritter Veteran Interview Day
We are SO happy to say…we are back!! The fifth-grade classes at Ritter Elementary School are studying American History and important Americans. Veterans are important people in America, and our students want to learn more about the contributions veterans have made to our country.
Our fifth graders would embrace an opportunity to interview a veteran. You are invited to visit our school on Tuesday, September 27th from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. to be interviewed by a small group of fifth-grade students. The students would like to learn more about the branches of service, military life, and the dedication, sacrifice, and courage required of a veteran.
The students will take notes during the interview to prepare an informational paper on the experience. The papers will be included on a presentation board that the students will display and share at our school’s annual Veterans’ Day Program. Each board will celebrate the contributions of the interviewed veteran.
The students would enjoy seeing any photos or memorabilia you may have from your military service, so please bring any such items.
Please call 484-765-5661 to confirm your attendance at the Ritter School Veterans Interview Day, or email Ms. Angela Nacci at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our students are looking forward to meeting you!
Thank you for your time and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 27th. Note: Please arrive at 9:00. You will be checked in by our student ambassadors who will then direct you to your interviewer. Interviews will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. Directions are at the bottom of this page. Please bring photo identification.
